Kiwi and chocolate, a perfect match!

The combination of kiwi and chocolate is very harmonious. For dessert or a sweet snack, these recipes are also perfect to fill up with vitamins!

Kiwi and chocolate, what a great mix of acidity and sweetness! You can really have fun cooking these recipes, blending textures and colors, playing with the green of the kiwi fruits and the different types of chocolate (dark, white, milk…). Little ones and adults will love these easy and delicious ideas.

♦  Chocolate kiwi lollipops

For 4 people

Ingredients

4 kiwis Oscar®

150g chocolate (7/8 cup)

Crushed dried fruits (nuts, hazelnuts, pistachios) or multicolored sprinkles

– Melt the chocolate over a bain marie.

– Peel the kiwi fruits, cut each into 4 slices. Pin them with wooden picks.

– Pour the melted chocolate into a deep dish.

– Dip kiwi halfway into chocolate. Immediately sprinkle with dried chopped fruits or multicolored edible sprinkles.

– Keep in the fridge for 1 hour before serving.

 

♦  Bowl baked Oatmeal and Kiwi fruits  

For 1 person

Ingredients

1 kiwi Oscar®

40g oatmeal (1/2 cup)

20g of dark chocolate (1/8 cup)

1 egg

3 tbsp of milk

– Melt the chocolate in the microwave, add the milk and the egg. Whisk together, then with the oatmeal.

– Pour the mixture into a lightly oiled bowl.

– Microwave the bowl for 3 minutes (800 W).

– Top with the kiwi.

 

♦  Kiwi and white chocolate mousse  

For 4 people 

Ingredients

4 kiwis Oscar®

100g of white chocolate (1/2 cup)

30 cl of whipping cream (1 cup)

40g of sugar (1/4 cup)

– Peel and cut 1 kiwi into pieces. In a saucepan, combine kiwi fruit, sugar and 3 tbsp of water.Cook for 6 to 8 minutes over medium heat and stir.

– In a saucepan, heat 5cl (0,2 cup) of the cream.

– Out of the fire, add the white chocolate and stir.

– Whip the rest of the cream until thick. Add the melted chocolate and the 3 kiwis cut into small cubes.

– Pour the mixture into four glasses.

– Refrigerate for 3 hours.

– Before serving, top with cold kiwi cooked mixture.
