This year a colloquium entirely devoted to the nutritional benefits of the kiwi fruit took place in New Zealand. Almost 200 experts came together to discuss the same theme “The Kiwi fruit and health”; the first of its kind!
Recent studies presented during the event reported new benefits.
To the long list of benefits already known can be added the important role which it is thought to play in digestion, its role in regulating the sugar levels present in our bloodstream and the fact that it is thought to strengthen our immune system. Regular consumption is also thought to significantly increase our overall vitamin C level.
