Review your diet
Eating seasonal fruit and vegetables rich in vitamins and minerals is a good place to start! This is particularly true of kiwifruit, which is very rich in vitamin C (1 kiwifruit contains more vitamin C than an orange).
Avoid dishes that are too rich in fats and carbohydrates, which are neither nutritious nor digestible. They also won’t give you the energy you need to stay fit during the day! Finally, don’t overdo the caffeine and other stimulants. They may prevent you from sleeping.
Review your sleeping habits
Keeping to a regular schedule and adopting a routine before going to bed are essential to getting a good night’s sleep. Above all, make sure you turn off the screens an hour before going to bed. They are not conducive to letting go and may have repercussions on the quality of your sleep.
Sometimes, when we’re tired, we tend to do less, and sport is not one of our priorities. And yet, despite your tiredness, getting active can be a real breath of fresh air, a way of releasing tension too, not to mention the general health benefits. And if you’re feeling stressed, think about a gentler activity: meditation, yoga, relaxation… It’s a great way to start off on the right foot!
