Here are 2 new and delicious spring recipes to enjoy the benefits of our Oscar kiwis every day!
The days are getting longer, the buds are starting to open and nature is slowly coming back to life as spring approaches! It’s usually at this time of year that we want to vary what we eat, in particular by preparing new recipes. Here are 2 quick and easy ones to try out…
– Oscar kiwi poke bowl
For a colourful, healthy and balanced lunch or dinner, you’ll love it. The best part? Simply adapt the recipe to the season: replace the rice with quinoa or the salmon with chickpeas for a vegetarian version.
2 green Oscar kiwis
1 small mango
2 grated carrots
1 salmon fillet
130 g brown rice
Olive oil and lemon juice or mango vinegar for seasoning
Cook the rice and leave to cool.
In the meantime, peel the fruits and avocado, dice them.
Cut the salmon into small pieces.
Arrange all the ingredients in 2 bowls and season to taste.
– Oscar apple and kiwi puree
A puree to enjoy on its own, perfect for using up your overripe kiwis!
4 Oscar kiwis
1 sachet of vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon of spices to taste (cinnamon, aniseed…)
Peel the fruits, cut into pieces and cook over low heat in a saucepan with the vanilla sugar and spices for about 20-25 minutes, stirring regularly.
Leave to cool before mashing the fruits into a puree or blend for a smoother texture.
